There seems to be such debate over ‘truth’ and ‘illusion’ but in a world that was only created so we could experience ourselves, perhaps truth and illusion are just two sides of the same coin.

Ho’ponopono is an ancient Hawaiian prayer for forgiveness and reconciliation. Traditionally it was used by indigenous Hawaiian healers. Its meaning is “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you. I love you.” As the Black Lives Matter movement has globally expanded, this prayer can be a good practise for people to delve inside to take accountability, heal and release.
By thinking that you must discard of your emotional baggage, you are labelling it as separate from yourself. You are subconsciously telling yourself that you are not whole and that you cannot be loved as you are. In order to truly let go of your emotional baggage, you must do the opposite; by practising radical self-acceptance.
Remember that there are several stages to awakening. We can sometimes appear to awaken all at once into bliss and union, only to then fade back into darkness. This darkness does not mean you are forgetting your spiritual journey; you are simply going deeper. Honour this space, too.
I desperately asked for a miracle, and a powerful healing experience manifested; the Northern Lights in the shape of an angel. To me, this experience showed me that you can receive Miracles if you ask for them and know that you are worthy of them.
