COVID-19 EARTH HEALING: Divine Feminine and Masculine

Right now, we are in a global crisis, a pandemic based around fear. This has all started from the fact that mother Earth has been in crisis herself. There has been so much action on the planet, and such an overdrive of masculine energy, that we are now we are being directed to slow down and receive. We must sit still with ourselves, and embody the feminine energy inside ourselves that allows us to surrender.

We can heal the planet if we remember how sacred it is to surrender. For so long the collective has focused so much on its masculine energy, that it has neglected the earth.

It has neglected the earth because it has forgotten how to be receptive towards her needs. The earth is a living, breathing organism, inextricably connected to our souls / our higher self. COVID-19 is mother earth’s response to the state of humanity.

This article is not about COVID-19, though. There are enough conspiracies and explanations and information surfacing the internet. This article is a channelled response about how to use this crisis to connect to the masculine and feminine components of earth, and thus to energetically heal her – shifting into the 5th dimension of unconditional love and harmony.

MASCULINE = Action. Directed energy. The dominant choice maker. Rooted in ego. (no to be mistaken, there is a higher self of your ego, too) However, must work with the feminine in order to make choices out of love and receptivity.

FEMININE = Surrendering. Yielding. Feeling. Receptivity. Inspiration and thought comes from comes from the action and choices received. The divine feminine feels with the entire body, not blocking the way energy moves through the body.

Both are energetic forms that create an experience, together. The divine masculine and feminine do not exist in just the man and the woman, but both inside of all of us, regardless of any identity we have as a human. Non-binary, bi-gender, transgender, man, woman, other… we all have masculine and feminine energy.

Carl Jung recognised this as he discussed the anima and the animus. The anima is the unconscious feminine side of anyone identifying as predominantly male, and the animus is the unconscious masculine side of anyone identifying is predominantly female. He talked about this a lot in his school of analytical psychology as part of his theory of the collective unconscious. Read more about the anima and the animus here:

Most people identifying as predominantly male will channel and express the masculine property, whilst those identifying as predominantly female will channel and express the feminine. Of course there is a very large spectrum when we are talking about gender, and how people express their energy are beautifully unique to the individual.

As I described at the top, masculine is rooted in action, whilst feminine is rooted in surrender.

Action and surrender is how we as humans operate through our lives. We engage the masculine principle when we direct a choice and take action. We then engage our feminine principle when we receive and surrender to the energy that comes from this action, allowing us to experience through our bodies.

“The deep Feminine, the mystery of consciousness, She who is life, is longing for our transformation as much as we are. She holds back, allowing us free reign to choose, nudging us occasionally with synchronicities, illness, births, and deaths… But when we make space for her, she rushes into all the gaps, engulfing us with her desire for life and expression. This is what She longs for, this is what we are for: experiencing the feminine through ourselves. We simply need to slow down and find where to put our conscious attention. And it is this, this willingness to look again, this willingness to put consciousness onto our places of unconscious, to express what we have always avoided, which starts the process of unblocking, so that She may flow through.”
– Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman

Through this experience of receptivity and surrender; thought and inspiration come. These are the seeds for the next action, when we engage the masculine again.

We can also see this as action and inaction. Action cannot exist without inaction, as inaction cannot exist without action. This is how they are inextricably linked.

A wounded masculine struggles with action and choice-making. A wounded feminine struggles to receive, and feel through the body.

Both must be balanced within yourself in order to reach a state of unity.

Much division in the world has come from the idea that the masculine and feminine are separate, and that each person must take on a complete role of either the masculine or the feminine. Taking on just one role interrupts the balance of the self, and affects BOTH sides.

It is important to realise that the search is an illusion. You can only unify the energy by balancing both within yourself.

It can be said that human-kind embodies a masculine principle; rooted in the ego choice-making and action. The earth itself embodies the feminine principle; the yielding, the experiencing, the one who is affected by the action and choices. Much of the current climate crisis in the planet is an expression of how we are not balanced within our masculine and feminine as a species. The world is ruled by the masculine, completely driven by patriarchy, which in turn has taken its toll on the Earth – as the receiver.

The Earth itself is also just a projection of what is going on spiritually, inside of ourselves. The inside and the outside are inseparable, as our thoughts create our reality. It could be suggested that the divine masculine is the action taken by the higher self through our body(the spirit of earth), and the divine feminine is the body and the vessel that reacts to the action (the Earth).

As human-kind focus too much on action and choice, particularly within those who are predominantly masculine; we stop being receptive within our self. We have become a planet of the wounded feminine; and by proxy we are also a planet of the wounded masculine.

The only way out of this social divide on Earth, is inwards. This divide within our souls is purely an illusion. Mother Earth can heal herself rapidly, and IS healing herself rapidly, as we journey inwards and make peace with our inner masculine and feminine co-existing as one.

We can do this through meditation. Leaning to be still and present within ourselves. By taking the time to focus on our breath, our emotions, and the sensations that we receive. Meditation doesn’t have to be sitting in silence. It is yielding to the presence of any action you take, and whatever you are physically doing.

Spiritual inner work has a very simple premise. And we heal the Earth by healing our-self.

There is nothing to fear when you remember that to surrender, is only to surrender to unconditional love.
